Summer 2024
Dear Friends of the Feldman!
We are delighted to announce our 2024-2025 season with another great lineup of live music performed by some of the world’s finest musicians on the stage of the Kaufman Theater at the Chrysler Museum of Art! We’re also thrilled to welcome back our regional treasure, WHRO 90.3 FM’s Morning Classics announcer, musicologist Dwight Davis to give a 20-minute preview of each concert beginning at 7 pm. As always, doors will open at 6:45pm and the concert starts at 7:30 pm.
Our Regular Season. Our regular season will begin on Monday, September 23 with Trio Zimbalist. Next, we’ll present Ensemble 4.1, a piano “Windtet” from Germany, consisting of bassoon, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and piano on October 28. On November 18, we’ll welcome back to the stage Tempesta di Mare, a premier Baroque group out of Philadelphia. After the holiday break, we’ll also welcome back Trio con Brio Copenhagen on February 10, 2025, with another European ensemble, the Goldmund Quartet joining us for the first time on March 3. We’ll cap our season on April 7 with the Ariel Quartet, who charmed us with some Beethoven in one of our first concerts after the pandemic.
The Importance of Your Role. There are a couple of things you can do to help ensure this wonderful tradition of bringing the world’s best chamber music to Hampton Roads continues:
- Please help us spread the word by bringing a friend to a concert.
- Please consider making a donation with your ticket purchase. With ticket sales covering less than half the cost of the music, every gift – no matter how small – is deeply appreciated and will help assure the continuation of this regional treasure.
- Please join us for a concert!
