Play More Chamber Music!
Dear Friends of the Feldman!
We are delighted to announce our 2026-2027 season with another great lineup of live music performed by some of the world’s finest musicians on the stage of the Kaufman Theater at the Chrysler Museum of Art! We’re also thrilled to welcome back our regional treasure, WHRO 90.3 FM’s Morning Classics announcer, musicologist Dwight Davis, to give a 20-minute preview of each concert beginning at 7 pm. As always, doors will open at 6:45 pm, and the concert starts at 7:30 pm.
Our Summer Music Series 2026. We look forward to another summer of matinee concerts at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Dates are Saturday, June 6 (ODU Piano Quartet); Sunday, July 12 (Chris Kypros); and September 6 (New Commonwealth Quartet). These concerts feature our talented local artists performing accessible works lasting about an hour without intermission. These concerts are free and open to the public. Please keep an eye on our website as additional details are available.
Our Regular Season. Our regular season will begin on Monday, September 14, 2026, with the Miró Quartet. Next, we’ll host a string trio, the Calidore Quartet, on October 19. On November 16, we’re excited to welcome the return of the Horszowski Trio. After the holiday break, we’ll be welcoming a new group for us, the Ivalas Quartet, on February 1, 2027. On March 1, 2027, we’re bringing back, by popular demand, the Goldmund Quartet from Germany. And to finish our season, we’ll proudly host the famed Gryphon Trio from Canada on April 5, 2027.
The Importance of Your Role. There are a couple of things you can do to help ensure this wonderful tradition of bringing the world’s best chamber music to Hampton Roads continues:
- Please help us spread the word by bringing a friend to a concert.
- Please consider making a donation with your ticket purchase. With ticket sales covering less than half the cost of the music, every gift – no matter how small – is deeply appreciated and will help assure the continuation of this regional treasure.
- Please join us for a concert!
We look forward to seeing you at our next concert!
All the best,
Pete
