bringing the best in chamber music to Southeastern Virginia

We are delighted to announce our 2023-2024 season with another great lineup of live music performed by some of the world’s finest musicians!  We’re also thrilled to welcome back WHRO 90.3 FM’s Morning Classics announcer, musicologist Dwight Davis to give a preview of each concert beginning at 7pm.  Doors open at 6:45pm and concerts start at 7:30pm.  Please enter through the side door of the Museum by the parking lot.  All seats are general admission.

Our Regular Season. Our regular season will begin on Monday September 18 with a baroque group, Kleine Kammermusik. October will feature the Lysander Piano Trio, while we bring the Ulysses Quartet to the stage in December.  The Jupiter Quartet returns to the Feldman in February, this time with pianist Soyeon Kate Lee; while March features the Merz Trio.  We’ll close out our season on April 8 with the Telegraph Quartet, another favorite of the Feldman.

Partnerships.  We are excited to start a new partnership with Tidewater Classical Guitar.  The purchase of your Feldman season ticket will also cover your attendance at the TCG concert on Saturday November 18, 2023 with guitarist Alec Holcomb at Coastal Virginia Unitarian Universalists, 809 S. Military Highway in Virginia Beach.  Your season ticket will also entitle you to a discount at our annual co-presentation event with the Virginia Arts Festival.

Contact Information.  Please be sure to include an email address on your order form so we can reach you should there be any last-minute changes, to include those caused by weather.  We will also communicate changes via our website, our phoneline (757-552-1630), and social media.

Health and Safety.  Although the Covid-19 public health emergency has ended, please stay attuned to changes in public health announcements.  We will follow current CDC guidelines.  We ask that patrons not feeling well postpone their visit to the next concert.

The Importance of Your Role. There are a few things you can do to help ensure the tradition of bringing the world’s best chamber music to Hampton Roads continues:

  1. Please help us spread the word by bringing a friend to a concert.
  2. Please consider making a donation with your ticket purchase if you are able. With the affordable presentation of music being challenged by inflation, and ticket sales covering less than half the cost of the music, every gift – no matter how small – is deeply appreciated and will help assure the continuation of this regional treasure.
  3. Please join us for a concert!

We couldn’t enjoy this music without you, so thank you for supporting the Feldman.  We look forward to welcoming you to our next concert!
